Joel Finck
I am an Artist and Maker. I love to create. I create for myself, but it is wonderful when someone else finds value in what I do.
My work, at times, consists of traditional photography using a digital camera. Other times I will manipulate an image to better convey an idea or concept, in order to go where my creative vision takes me. My art is my therapy and helps to keep me sane.
I was very fortunate to have been able to make my living as a Creative, being employed by major department stores in western Canada in the field of visual presentation and store design from which I am now retired as well as working, for some years, as an independent Ceramic Sculptor.
